We are a small scale regenerative organic family farm. We use bio intensive farming methods to produce remarkably high yields . On our farm we use permanent no-till growing beds.

The beds are continually replanted through the growing season and year round in hoophouses. We do this by maintaining very fertile soil. We use permanent beds that reduce our soil disturbance. Beds are not tilled but prepped by hand with a broadfork to loosen soil then lightly tilthed and raked. This reduces weed pressure, increases organic matter and reduces disease pressure. Regular applications of compost maintain and increase healthy biological soil life.

We raise a small flock of 150 free range egg laying hens. Our hens are fed certified organic feed and allowed access to pasture everyday.

The farm grows over 40 varieties of vegetables, herbs, microgreens and eggs for our CSA, and farmers market customers since 2008.

The Farmers

We are Jake and Kim Jakubowski. Two passionate growers who enjoy taking care of the land, working hard, and growing nutrient dense veggies. Originally from Southeastern Wisconsin, we took root in the beautiful southwestern part of the state known as the Driftless area in 2002.
